On May 13, 2024, we launched the Novonaut AMADEE-24 Limited Edition, a watch shaped by the pressure, discipline and ambition of the AMADEE-24 Mars analog mission. Built for simulated Martian conditions here on Earth, it marked another serious step in preparing for what comes next on the Red Planet.
Functionality and design
Crafted in full titanium and powered by our space-tested manufacture calibre WERK 17, AMADEE-24 was engineered for extremes.
Its Mission-Control-Bezel integrated a communication-delay tracker, a detail designed for precision when distance changes everything. The Grand Counter was built for timing critical procedures, experiments and tight windows where accuracy is non-negotiable.
The piece
Subtle golden accents met Lumicast numerals, bringing a quiet glow to a watch defined by utility. The result was pure Novonaut: uncompromising tool-watch engineering, finished with a restrained sense of beauty that belongs in exploration.
