Where the Story Was Made: Behind the Scenes of Miami Dive
Behind the Scenes of Miami Dive looks at the people, places and real conditions behind the Fortis X Ocean Collective production. From the Gulf Stream to the Florida springs and the cultural pulse of Miami, this final chapter shows how the story was captured in water, motion and depth.

Together with Ocean Collective, Fortis set out to capture the Marinemaster across three contrasting environments: the force of the Gulf Stream, the precision of the Florida springs and the cultural pulse of Miami. Each location brought its own rhythm, its own challenges and its own visual language.
This was Miami Dive. Created in real water, with a team that followed the conditions instead of forcing them.
The team followed the water, the light, the animals and the conditions. Currents shifted. Dive windows changed. Cold weather added pressure. Some moments appeared once and were gone within seconds.
That became the strength of the production.
Lukas Müller and the Ocean Collective team brought the scientific foundation to the project. Their understanding of marine life, freediving and the fragile balance of these environments shaped the way the story was captured. Every encounter was close, respectful and real.

Behind the camera, the production moved in the same way. Divers, photographers and marine specialists worked as one team, balancing safety, storytelling and timing. In the open ocean, there were no second takes. In the springs, every movement had to stay controlled. In Miami, the city added energy, colour and contrast.
The result is a visual report shaped by authenticity: short films, editorial chapters and strong stills that show the Marinemaster where it belongs. In motion. In depth. In real conditions.

As the final chapter of Miami Dive, this behind-the-scenes piece looks at the people, places and decisions that made the story possible. A production shaped by water, trust and the willingness to follow the moment wherever it led.
