Up to 70 hours Power Reserve
The Fortis Werk 17 Automatic Manufacture Calibre features a column wheel chronograph for enhanced reliability. 60 Hours of Power Reserve and regulated to chronometer standards by the Fortis Watchmakers in Grenchen according to the Fortis Performance Requirements.
With the 2026 Upgrade to Werk 17 TR the Power Reserve increases to 70 Hours. With the upgrade we also add the variable inertia regulation system.

Werk 17: Going beyond
Werk 17 was tested in collaboration with the Swedish Space Corporation. The test consisted of a number of movements fixed on a gondola driven by a stratospheric balloon.

After the successful stratospheric balloon test Fortis and SSC have taken watch-movement-testing to the next level.
