Being the manufacturer of the world’s first automatic wrist watches in 1926, we still stand for the same values today: robustness, functionality and design. And we still do. In the same place.
The WERK 13 has been designed and thoroughly tested for ultimate robustness and reliability. This is exemplified by the traversing balance bridge with a two-point fixation which improves shock resistance and allows precise positioning of the oscillator.
The WERK 13 manufacture Calibre and others are certified as a chronometer by the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute (COSC).
The Werk 13 offers an impressive 70-hour power reserve.
WE CALL THAT WEEKENDPROOF.
The F stands for Fucking awesome.
Not really of course.
F-Movements describe our inhouse movements with Alarm complication. We have been creating Alarm watches for more then half a century. Until today this pioneering spirit is one of the driving forces within the brand of Fortis.
There is the F-2001 which features a chronograph, date and mechanical alarm.
With the Daybreaker in 2012 we invented the F-2012: Chronograph, date, am/pm, GMT, Power Reserve for the movement, power reserve for the alarm.
Obviously it is always sold out.
Our UhrWerke (movements) are built with outstanding precision. From regular 3-hands to chronometer verified Chronographs – all are regulated to the highest standards of our time by our watchmakers here in Grenchen.
