The FORTIS Marinemaster has had its robustness tested under extreme conditions all over the world, in places such as Portugal. The SQ 751 pilots of the Portuguese Maritime Search and Rescue Team put the FORTIS Marinemaster through intensive test phases. These diving tests assess, amongst others: readability, pulse rate, pressure tightness under excess air pressure, functionality under water pressure, salt water resistance.
However, it was no surprise to anyone that the FORTIS Marinemaster passed all test phases with flying colours. The robust steel housing and the FORTIS crown keep their promise, namely 20 bar water resistance. The FORTIS 670.15.45 Marinemaster Blue fulfils all the criteria of a professional Swiss sports watch – be it in extreme situations or over relaxed drinks after a wonderful day at the beach. In a 42mm stainless steel housing with sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating on both sides, a Swiss automatic movement delivers precise performance – both above and below zero. The historical FORTIS submarine motif is engraved into the back of the housing.
