FORTIS created the Marinemaster Classic according after thorough deliberations and several design drafts: a sport watch that will withstand every wave and dive. The turning bezel, with its clear silver structures, rounds off the overall image of a real Aquatis watch. The two Brits Charlie and Matthew presumably had to train harder for the most famous trans-Atlantic rowing regatta, held from the Canary island of La Gomera to the English Harbour in Antigua.
The FORTIS Marinemaster Classic accompanied the extreme athletes for the entire 63 days through wind and waves. On the 13th March 2009, Charlie and Matthew reached their destination, their FORTIS Marinemasters still ticking, unperturbed. That’s why this model still has its place in today’s FORTIS Aquatis Collection. The matching performance straps not only support the sporty look, but also ensure perfect wear on your wrist.
